The Kills

This is a really cool band. The guitar riff at the beginning makes me want to pick up an electric guitar again. Alison Mosshart is awesome! She has a great voice and the look to go along with it. I will be listening to The Kills this Fall.

No Ending?!?!? Again!?!?!

I don't watch a whole lot of television therefore when I find a show that I like it's a pretty big deal for me. Recently I had two such shows end on a cliff hanger. First it was My Name is Earl. This show was awesome. After watching all of the prior seasons on Netflix I started watching what turned out to be the last season. Not only did the show end but it left me hanging. AARRRGGGHHH!!!!!! The most recent disappointment in T.V. land was Stargate Universe. This show was awesome! I know it sounds nerdy, but it had everything, drama, sci-fi, romance, and a bit of nerdy humor thrown in for good measure. I don't understand why it got canceled. There are many different incarnations of the Stargate series but none compared to this one. So I guess this is farewell to my friends on SGU. You will forever be on an endless journey aboard the Destiny.

I would like to believe that I will have more consistent blog posts from here on out. I'm not sure that's a promise I can keep. I feel like a new man every time I start blogging. Then the feeling fades and I go into a shy reserved phase. I feel like I'm hiding and can't come out until I get this crazy blogging fever again. I'm not sure anyone looks at this other than myself and Kare so it seems silly to be so weird about it. Is there a secret to being regular. Do I need Activia?

The Pit!

Recently I have taken to calling my studio The Pit. Maybe it's because I'm in the Pittsburgh area or because it's in the basement and it's small enough to be a walk in closet. It just feels like a pit. I have fallen in and I can't get out. The past two weeks have been non stop recording and creating, spending late nights in the studio, well into the morning hours. The record is really in full swing now. I will be very proud to share it once it's complete. I plan on releasing a single and possibly a Kickstarter.com page for the album. This will help complete the final things needed to wrap it up. It's on like Donkey Kong!

Spotify Me!

I'm so glad that Spotify finally came to the States. It let's you listen to music for free with commercials. Unlike Pandora it lets you search for a band, record, or song, then listen to it as many times as you like. I love it!!! I heard about it around two years ago on NPR. I thought it sounded awesome so I have been stalking the website ever since. If you like music you should check this site out.
